SUPER SOFT Dog Ears HACK
The One Trick To Making Your Dog’s Ears Super Soft
There’s nothing better than rubbing a dog’s soft ears. They love the affection and you love the satisfying sensory experience. Now there are many ways to make your dog’s ears soft, but I’ve found the – best – way and I’m willing to tell you, my beloved online friend.
So what will make my dog’s ears so soft that anyone who pets him or her will melt with delight? Use a small amount of Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil on the outside of your dog’s ears (about half a pump).
Dog ears…
I Discovered this trick by accident
…to die for
I discovered this trick by accident. I use Kerastase’s magic elixir on my own hair and it keeps it free from split ends and major tangles. After a shower, I was applying it to my own hair when my dog came bursting into the bathroom looking for me. Without realizing I had excess on my hands, I have him a ton of affection by rubbing his ears, something he loves. He then bounded off when my wife called for him and I forgot all about it.
Later that day when he came over for some affection, I was astounded on how soft and silky smooth his ears were to the touch. They were definitely soft to begin with, but the Elixir Ultime Hair Oil dialed it to 11!
Safety
Is this safe?
Since my dog is constantly at my side, at home and in the office, I was vigilant in observing if there were any ill-affects from the addition of the Elixir Ultime Hair Oil. Days went by without any apparent irritation, discomfort, obvious itching or anything that would have raised a red flag (your dog’s mileage may vary). However, I reached out to L’Oreal, who makes Kerastase’s Elixir Ultime Hair Oil to see what they would say. They never responded. L’Oreal stopped testing their products on animals in 1989, so this request may have painted them in an awkward corner. However, I’ll update this post if they respond and feel it poses a threat to your canine.
A little goes a long way…
As I stated above, a little of the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil goes a long way, so use a very small amount if you want to try this for your dog. In addition, the ears will stay soft, so don’t reapply until after your dog’s next bath.
If you find yourself inadvertently rubbing your dog’s ears or giving him excessive affection, don’t blame me!
